Non-removable axles
The construction of front wheel axles affects the functionality of a trike. When used on disc brake wheesets, non-removable axles make removal of front wheels cumbersome. Nonremovable axles decrease portability and ease of maintenance for disc brake wheels. With drum brakes, maintenance and portability are approximately equal with removable or non-removable axles.
