Compare weight: 500W Bionx v. 500W GoSwiss 26" wheel

We measured the naked weight of a 26" Bionx 500W wheel with a D500DV hub compared to the weight of a GoSwiss 500W wheel by HP Velotechnik. In spite of the appearance of more substance and weight, the Bionx wheel was significantly lighter than the GoSwiss wheel.

Compare weight: 500W Bionx v. 500W GoSwiss 26" wheel

It's not every day that we have the opportunity to measure the weights of different systems. Usually, everything is so intertwined with everything else, that it's hard to pin down exact weight differences of comparable items and components.
